We are looking for an experienced Interim Country Manager to lead and scale the Dutch presence of our client, an innovative European healthcare provider specialising in smart health technology that improves patient safety, supports independence, and enhances the efficiency of healthcare services.
In this assignment, you will take charge of day-to-day operations, stabilise the organisation, and deliver measurable commercial and operational results. You combine strategic clarity with hands-on leadership, ensuring that growth, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement are effectively managed during a period of transition and expansion.
What you’ll do
- Take full responsibility for leading the business in the Netherlands, reporting to Group CEO/shareholders.
- P&L accountability, ensuring stability and growth.
- Oversee operations and ensure service delivery is aligned with commercial objectives.
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
- Stimulate and lead growth opportunities and business development initiatives.
- Oversee accurate budgeting, monthly reporting, and KPI monitoring.
- Lead, coach, and stabilise the management team in collaboration with Group HR.
- Implement and facilitate a clear management rhythm, driving execution and accountability.
- Collaborate with Group Marketing and Commercial leadership for accelerated market growth.
- Ensure continuity of operations while preparing the organisation for long-term success.
What we’re looking for
- Proven track record in interim or senior leadership roles within healthcare or medical devices, ideally in a technology-enabled services environment.
- Strong commercial and operational acumen: budget ownership, growth strategy, hands-on delivery.
- Experience in stabilising organisations, leading teams through transition, and creating immediate impact.
- Ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on operational management.
- Strong stakeholder management and networking skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders in healthcare, including insurers, government agencies, hospitals, and care providers.
- A collaborative, pragmatic, and results-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
